The disappointment the President witnessed in Katanga Agenda 111 is a blessing for us – NPP Communication
Navrongo Constituency Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Moses Amoah, has described President Akufo-Addo’s Agenda 111 visit to Katanga Community in Zaurung, Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region as a blessing.
As part of President Akufo-Addo’s itinerary for his one-day tour to the Upper East region on August 5, he will visit the Katanga community in Bolgatanga East district just after commissioning the Tono water extension project in Navrongo.
But unfortunately, President Akufo-Addo’s mood seems to have automatically changed immediately after he arrived at the site and saw what appears to be foundation level work already done by the contractor in charge and angrily returned straight to the RCC residence.
However, responding to the issue on the Apexnewsgh.com SPEAKOUT REGION UPPER EAST programme, Mr. Amoah said, “I can tell you that the President’s move to Bolga East has been a blessing to us”.
According to him, “The President saw the indifferent attitude that the contractor was showing on the construction site, he saw it very clearly. This one isn’t about someone telling the president that this contractor isn’t doing this or that, the president saw it with his own eyes. And you saw that when Mr. President came there, he was not happy, he was angry, and that is a positive reaction. When a president gets in and probably leaves angry, that tells you the expectations of that person.”
“The president expected the project to be at a different level by the time he got there, but unfortunately that was not where he met it, and that’s even a blessing. Now that the president has seen the project at this level, he will streamline things when he returns.” he concluded.
