The District Chief Executive for the Binduri district Hon Yakubu Ayinga received loud applause from residents of Kpalugu in the Binduri district. The applause came at the back of the sod cutting event for construction of a CHPS compound for the area.
On the 14th September 2022, a site was allocated at Kpalugu, a suburb of the district for the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS). The area which have been depending on other adjourning communities for primary health care would now get a health facility of its own for health care.
The structure will comprise of a three accommodation apartments, a labour ward, stores, a dispensary, line inward and others. The contract is expected to end within six months and handed over to the community for its intended purpose.
The contract has been awarded to Winpini Construction limited, with funding from DPAT under the Binduri District Assembly.
Hon. Ayinga in a statement thanked the people of the community for believing in the NPP government and encouraged them to continue to help the course of getting Binduri District developed for a better tomorrow.
