Afrobeats and Highlife singer KiDi once again had to apologize to the general public, especially the personalities he insulted and made negative comments in tweets dating back to 2012.
In the last 24 hours, the singer has dominated entertainment shows in Ghana, grabbed headlines and also topped Twitter after his damn old tweets resurfaced.
Wednesday 28th September was set to be one of KiDi’s biggest days on the calendar with the release of his latest EP titled 4Play.
However, it was marred by tweets that saw him attack personalities including Delay, Sarkodie, Yvonne Nelson, Nana Akufo-Addo and several others.

It should be recalled that KiDi had to pull the same streak in 2020 when these old tweets started to haunt him. This is not the first time that social media users have dug up the famous singer’s tweets.
In the latest apology seen by GhanaWeb on Thursday, September 29, the ‘Touch It’ hitmaker expressed remorse and begged his victims for forgiveness.
“Years ago, when I was young and ignorant and didn’t understand the implications and ramifications of my words, / I tweeted things that were inappropriate and unkind. As I got older, I regretted these actions immensely and how they affected the parties involved. I want to apologize again to everyone for the statements I made and use this as a reminder to be aware of what we say and how it affects people. Let’s be good to each other.”
Thursday’s post also captured the Lynx Entertainment signee preaching to fans against cyberbullying.
