In an effort to reduce the rising rate of unemployment in the country, the Youth Employment Agency in accordance with the Youth Employment Agencies Act, 2015 (Act 887) is to oversee the development, coordination, supervision and facilitation of youth employment and related matters in Ghana and in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service recruiting for the Community Protection Assistants module
Qualifications of Community police assistants
Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35.
Minimum qualification of high school education.

About Youth Employment Agencies Recruitment of Community Health Workers
The Youth Employment Agency is partnering with the Ghana Health Service to implement the CHW program in accordance with Regulation I (b) of the Youth Employment Regulation 2016 (L.I. 2231). The Community Health Workers (CBW) program seeks to expand community health workers to improve access to health services in rural communities and contribute to the achievement of universal health coverage (I_IHC) and the response to COVID•19. Under the programme, beneficiaries are to be employed by a youth employment agency to work closely with the Ghana Health Service at the community level. Successful applicants will be published exclusively in the communities in which they live.
Qualifications of community health workers
Persons between the ages of 18 and 35 (females are encouraged to apply) Minimum secondary school qualification with passes in English and Mathematics Applicants must be proficient in English and at least one local language. Ability to use (or learn to use) a smartphone. Only shortlisted applicants who successfully complete the CHW training program will be included.
Duties
A community health worker is not a health worker but a person recruited by the youth work agency from the community in which they live and given basic orientation to serve as a service delivery bridge between the respective communities and service delivery sites, thereby facilitating the work of community health nurses , community health officers and midwives in various communities. 🔥
