The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said it has launched an investigation into a viral video on social media in which some students of Chiana Secondary School were caught openly insulting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
GES apologized to Mr. President on behalf of the school and students.
“The management of GES wishes to express our sincere apologies to the president and the general public on behalf of the students and the school,” GES said in a statement issued on Monday, May 14.
The GES called the act “unfortunate”, adding that it was “against all the educational and moral principles of our society”.
