Black Stars midfielder Kudus Mohammed scored the second goal in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League
Kudus Mohammed scored his second UEFA Champions League goal against Liverpool. The Black Stars midfielder has been in great form for Ajax in both domestic and continental competitions.
Ajax hosted Liverpool in today’s UEFA Champions League at Anfield. He held his own as Ajax’s leading man, a position he was forced into in recent games.
Kudus Mohammed did not disappoint when he equalized for Ajax in the first half. Egyptian wizard Mohammed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 17th minute, but it was short-lived as fellow African Kudus Mohammed headed Ajax level. Ten minutes after Liverpool took the lead, Kudus Mohammed scored the goal.
The first half ended 1-1 and that was a good first half result for Ajax playing away.
The goal became Kudus Mohammed’s second in the UEFA Champions League.
